JVCC FELT-06 is a 1mm thick polyester felt tape featuring a synthetic needle-punched felt backing with an adhesive side; ideal for diverse applications requiring a soft, durable, and secure bond. This 2-inch wide by 75-foot long black tape excels at joining and temporarily repairing fabrics, curtains, and drapes, particularly in backdrop creation. It’s also effective for general vibration dampening, filtration, gaskets, wipers, and padding in various industries. Use it to conceal seams during photography, create clean edges on platforms and flats, or matte borders and line display/jewelry cases. Protect floors from scratches by applying it to furniture feet. The tape has a 3-inch core, utilizes a paper release liner (reverse wound), and meets RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU standards. Technical specifications include a total thickness of 49 mils (adhesive and liner), 39 mils (adhesive only), and 10 mils (liner). Adhesion measures 130 ounces per inch to stainless steel, while tensile strength reaches 23 lbs/inch longitudinally and 21 lbs/inch transversely. Application temperature should be 60°F or higher. A 2-4 inch leader of double-sided film tape is often present on the roll to aid application; simply cut a piece of felt or utilize the film tape to initiate the process, carefully peeling the release liner.
